The first part in the disposal process is booking a collection. Once this has been completed, you will receive a confirmed date for the collection via a phone call or email, depending on your preference. On the confirmed date, a company rep will come to collect your redundent IT equipment. The company rep will log all equipment collected and provide you with a copy of the waste transfer note. The data will then be destroyed to your preference, this can be HMG standards, a Data-Wipe, a level 3 standard which conforms to the DoD 5220.22-M sanatizing standard or complete data destruction for highly sensitive information. All of this will then be processed with the assigned asset tag and a report will be created with this information, a copy will then be provided to you in an email. Also we shall provide you with photographic evidence if your hard drive is wiped or destroyed. Finally a waste transfer note is provided with the audit report.
