DTC provide a range of services to the global telecommunications industry around Reverse Logistics (RL) and After Market Services (AMS). RL is the process of planning, implementing, and managing the safe, efficient, cost effective recovery of surplus equipment and material from both live and redundant operating environments thereby recapturing value and ensuring proper disposal. AMS focus on the asset management and resale of secondary market multi-vendor telecom equipment at a system, part and component level. This legacy network lifecycle management in both public and private dedicated networks that will be required for at least another ten years co-existing with newer services and applications run over converged Packet Switched Networks. Unwanted and aged hardware recoveries include multi-vendor Transmission, Central Office Switching, Access, Wireless, CPE and Broadcast communications equipment. Implementation of a recovery project offers immediately reduced footprints at multiple sites, the freeing up of space in centralized warehousing, reduced energy consumption and associated OPEX savings. In addition these activities provide comprehensive visibility of surplus inventory, control of these assets and a strategic approach towards network lifecycle management, recycle and resale leading to a positive impact both from a financial aspect and in the area of corporate environmental concerns. Our recycling processes are constantly monitored and reviewed through our ISO 14001 environmental management system. Our registration and compliance to ISO 9001 guarantees a full audit trail from collection to disposal which in turn gives peace of mind to our clients. Our unique recycling process ensures that all materials are processed locally within the UK. These processed materials are in turn sold into the recycling industry here in the UK, with the exception of Printed Circuit Boards which are processed in state of the art facilities in Belgium.
