Earlier this year, ‘Careers Wales Cardiff and Vale Ltd.’ decided to replace their limited HR system. David Spray, HR Manager at Careers Wales explains: ‘We really needed an application which could handle absence management and complex reporting, along with the standard HR options. The Mitrefinch implementer was a great help and was able to integrate some of the functionality from the Mitrefinch Time Management System (TMS) into HR Manager, in order to meet our needs.’
‘The system has now been installed across all five offices in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. We expect that HR Manager will free up our small HR team from some time-consuming administration, as some employee management tasks are devolved to line managers. We particularly appreciate the fact that the HR Manager system has been customised in order to provide managers with easily accessible information and it is their responsibility for maintaining it. Overall, we are happy with the system and the training has been good, we look forward to developing the applications of the system further.’
