Big Ideas Collective welcomes big thinker

Following on from our international Green Dot accolade earlier this year, we are delighted to welcome author and Professor of Ethics, Roger Steare to enhance our services, strengthen our team and underline our business ethos.

Described by The Times as, “The man who wants us all to stop and think about the way society is headed…”  Roger Steare helps people in organizations all over the world develop good thinking, positive dialogue and ethical behaviour.  Author of ethicability ® How to decide what’s right and find the courage to do it, Roger is a man on a mission and his work has been endorsed by the great and the good, including President Jimmy Carter, The Rt. Hon. David Cameron MP and top executives from firms such as HSBC and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

BIG Co Director Ned Hoste said: “Having worked with Roger for a number of years I was delighted when he called me and said he wanted to be part of the Big Ideas Collective. Knowing his abilities as a big thinker Roger’s participation feels like a major endorsement of what BIG stands for and his involvement can only benefit our clients.”

As the current MPs’ expenses debacle and world banking crisis clearly demonstrates, doing what’s legally acceptable and doing what’s right can be miles apart.  Roger commented: “For MPs to bleat that they didn't break any rules is morally infantile. In last year's Moral DNA Report, published by Cass Business School in association with PricewaterhouseCoopers, those in government scored in the lowest quarter of the tables, significantly below even bankers.  Moral grown-ups don't need rules to tell them what's right.”

Currently working with a major financial services provider in Yorkshire, Roger works with large multi nationals through to SMEs offering coaching and practical support on internal relationships and customer propositions – building trust and doing what’s right is good for business.  Visit our website to find our more.
