Knotstressed Therapeutic Massage
Slavic Massage is one of the purest and oldest forms of Aromatherapy. It is similar in style to Ayurvedic Massage.
Warm oil is drizzled on to the skin and slow but smooth flowing movements induce deep relaxation. It is extremely relaxing and nurturing. An almost hypnotic state is reached through firm yet gentle rhythmical, circular, diagonal and figure-of-eight movements.
Slavic Massage dates back to the Gengis Khan era and was developed by nomadic, tribal people. It has since spread to the West from Central Asia and Eastern Europe but has its roots firmly in the Lake Baikal/Altai Mountain regions.
A full body treatment can last up to 3 hours, although shorter 1 hour, 1.5 hour and 2 hour sessions are available.
