The Al Rawda Palace in Manama required an increase in the level of security surrounding the building. This was prevalent in one area in particular which was the part of the building accommodating international visitors.
Our local partner, Secure Services Bahrain, proposed SP400 automatic bollards with stainless steel sleeves to combine aesthetics with a high level of resistance.
Representatives from Secure Services visited the site on several occasions prior to obtaining planning approval and were able to advise on ways of making the scheme aesthetically pleasing as well secure.
ATG Access designed a specific system to match the client’s requirements with a combination of an arm barrier. Secure Services arranged for the sleeves to be fitted locally.
SP400 automatic bollards were used because the product combines an aesthetic style with an incredible resistance. The bollards are able to successfully arrest a 7.5 tonne truck at 65km (PAS68 – K8). Please contact us for a copy of the crash test report if needed.
Secure Services undertook all aspects of the project including management of the civil works and installation of the barriers for the main entrances. This allowed our partner to fully control the project and create business with prestigious clients.
Training courses are regularly provided by ATG Access where our partners can learn about the latest developments. Civil contractors are also frequently met during local shows.
