Offering a dynamic and inspiring take on the original Pilates method by Joseph Pilates - Body Arts and Science Pilates (BASI) will give your body the new form, strength, tone and stretch it needs to cope with the everyday battering of our fast paced modern lifestyles.

My speciality is in small group classes – mat based.  However I do offer private 1 on 1, mat and reformer sessions.  I would recommend all beginners to have at least 2 to 3 private sessions before moving into a general class.

**NB - Monday 8pm is a fast paced abdominal class –You are be guaranteed a cardio workout. Not for the faint hearted!


Pre-Natal Pilates classes run Monday evenings (except BANK HOLIDAYS) over a course of 8 weeks and can be joined at any stage of pregnancy. Most girls will take the class up to 38 weeks while other girls go right up to due date – but it is all dependent on how you are feeling.  Exercises are all adapted to allow for comfort and to alleviate any pain you may feel. Breathing is a big part of the class, as is working the pelvic floor muscles.

Post-Natal with Baby classes run on Friday mornings.  All babies are welcome – please just bring along some toys to keep entertained.  This is still essentially a Pilates class so we try to get as much of a workout to restore the body back to its old if not better form with the inclusion of the babies when need be.

Private / Reformer sessions are available Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings between 8.30am and 1pm and every alternate Saturday.


I had been taking group Pilates lessons with Gina for about 3 years when I found out I had to have a total abdominal hysterectomy. Six weeks after the surgery I began a series of six one to one lessons with Gina. In only 4 weeks Gina helped me regain my strength using exercises that she adjusted to take into account my capability and scarring, which allowed me to return to work 3 weeks ahead of the usual expectations. The other benefit of the one on one tuition has been a big improvement in my Pilates technique and understanding. I cannot thank Gina enough for the part she played in my physical recovery.
