For young people, written by young people.
Childrens Educational Magazine, Kingsnews,
That's right, we're a not-for-profit magazine fuelled with education-based information for children, written by young adults.
This project started in June 2012, with four A-level students at Townley Grammar School, inspired by Collin, the man with the idea, and has led to this! Talking on behalf of the students, we could never have imagined our articles could ever be put up online to help young children's will to learn. Although it's been a long year and a half, with many trials and tribulations to work our way through, it's my absolute pleasure to let you know we're here to stay! So get ready for our monthy articles on all your favourite topics, as well as the wonderful creative writing from our two younger members of the team, Emma and Anastasia, who, at the age of the children this website is aimed at, show your children what they can really do.
With five members of the writing team at Universities across the country, and two in primary education, we really are the first team, so young, to write for children. What's more, we've opened up the possibility to write for us to everyone! By registering for our magazine, you have the opportunity to send in your articles or stories for any of the categories we publish.
All you need to do is write your piece and send it in to us via the webiste. The best of the best will be picked by the team and published to our website for everyone to see. And, if we like you enough, you might be asked to join the team! So, all you budding writers out there, get writing!
Hope you enjoy reading!
