The Gate at Sadler's Wells

Created & Performed by Pierre Rigal

28 - 30 May 2009

Originally staged at the Gate in February 2008, PRESS explores how our personal space is confined by the pressures of modern life. It is performed in a specially constructed boxed stage less than three and a half metres wide.

"Laugh-out-loud funny, tragic, breathtaking and hugely uplifting. PRESS seamlessly blends contemporary dance with physical comedy." 5 Stars - TIME OUT

Pierre Rigal sets himself a Houdini-esque choreographic challenge, which evolves into an extraordinary feat of physical prowess and daring.

The Gate and Sadler's Wells are delighted to offer audiences another chance to experience this unique show.
