Joseph Sofer and his wife approached us in the Summer of 2011 about their new business idea: to make and sell gourmet popcorn. They needed a kitchen for early production but didn't want to invest in their own premises in case the idea did not work out.  They also needed help with actually running and promoting a food business.  With The Olive Grows' help and lots of hard work, by November 2011 they had a sell-out show at BBC Masterchef Live and by the Spring of 2011 were in Selfridges nationally, Brent Cross, various independents and negotiating with a major chain in France.

Their delicious popcorn is still being produced in our kitchens, where Joe & Sephs are easily able to ramp up production when orders grow by booking extra production shifts.  The beauty of the facilities is that they only pay for use of the kitchens when they need to fulfill orders; no costly overheads when not in production, no need for investment in capital equipment and no distriactions of insurance, waste management, pest control, standards and procedures; all of that is taken care of by us so Joe & Sephs can concentrate on developing and producing great popcorn and growing sales.

At The Olive Grows we can help you short-circuit the pain of learning how to launch a food business and the process of getting a new food brand to market.
