At The Head Room, Megan Everett works using an integrative approach, which means drawing from a varied 'tool bag' of therapy models, this includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), transactional analysis (TA), psychodynamic, existential and humanistic/person-centered, as well as using hypnotherapy.  This means at The Head Room, Megan Everett can offer the type of therapy or combination of therapies, which is most appropriate for the particular needs of each client. Over the last five years Megan Everett has worked with both men and women of all ages from various backgrounds and sexualities, covering a range of issues, which include depression (including post-natal depression), relationship issues, loss and bereavement, work related issues, marital problems, difficulties arising from family life (past and present), low self-esteem, lack of confidence, stress and anxiety, sexuality issues and lack of motivation along with being involved with a number of charitable organisations such as Catch22 (formally known at Rainer International) as a young person’s mentor, Samaritans and befriending/counselling at The Caravan, based within the grounds of St James Church, Piccadilly, London. Megan Everett Hypnotherapy is a member of the National Council of Psychotherapists (NCP) and National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), both of which promote the highest standards of training and professional ethics among its members, including the requirement for Professional Indemnity Insurance.
