Ok – the headline sucked you in, but it is true. There is a discussion thats been going on over on
for over a year under the topic “Anybody using Project Management
Software (on a Mac)?”. As at today there have been over one hundred
comments by over fifty individuals and everyone has given a suggestion
and recommendation to the question Tony has put forward.
I thought it would be interesting to pull all the comments through
to a spreadsheet and group the recommendations that were made (its a
lot quicker than counting manually!). So what were the results?
Out of fifty two unique recommendations Streamtime was recommended the most, by eleven of the readers, followed closely by (9 people) and (8 people) then (5 people). The above pie graph shows the frequency of unique recommendations on the discussion group.
Its also interesting to look at how many people worldwide use these
project management solutions – its a question that seems to come up
over and over again (perhaps people like to be part of a crowd?) Based
on publicly available information the following solutions make the

located in 27 countries around the world but mostly the UK and
Australia. Our business is nine years old and we have thirteen staff
located in London, Manchester, Ghent, Sydney, and Christchurch. In
addition to this we have over a dozen specialist programmers in New
Zealand and the United Kingdom that we contract to do the bulk of the

My personal view however is – its not the number of users you have,
its the number of satisfied users you have – and its how well you can
retain them. At Streamtime we pride ourselves on our customer service
and support and so any user comments I look at very very carefully.
Here were the comments from a few of the Streamtime users that
recommended us on the Linked in discussion board:
“At Uncle we use Streamtime and love it. Simple to use, manageable
entry cost and powerful enough to take with you as you grow.”
“We use Streamtime, and it has completely sorted us out. I can’t recommend it highly enough.”
“Streamtime in my opinion trumps Traffic in a number of areas and most
of all it’s ‘designer friendly’. It works well with MYOB and other
accounting softwares and works albeit simply as an app on iphone.”
“After reviewing all the major players we opted for Streamtime based on
features, ease-of-use and low entry cost. We’re a few months in to
using it and it is transforming our business. Once we have a few more
months data in the system I can see I’ll be able to really benefit from
the reporting features.”
“We’ve been using Streamtme for 3 months now and we love it. Excellent
customer support, really well designed interface, very clear and easy
to follow setup and configuration. Based on FileMaker. Nice add ons
such as an iPhone app, iPad app. The site is choccablock full of info
to help decide.”
“We’re actually installing Streamtime today and we too had Mark, really helpful seems to be the right choice for us.”
“I can really recommend Streamtime. We are only a small agency (3 of
us) but I had been looking for a good quoting, time recording,
production planning & CRM software for a while. Streamtime has been
a great investment (it’s a good price too). What used to take an age
(quoting) is now often a 5 min job and planning / managing our projects
with precision is wonderful. I love it!”
We also have a few more customer comments .
Its great to hear feedback from our customers and readers, it sounds
cheesy but without you we couldn’t do what we do! I’d encourage you to
join in the discussions over at .
Dont take my word for it though – and see for yourself.
