Active Meditations are the synergy of movement and meditation and offer an accessible approach to quietening the mind via the use of specific movements, which can include shaking, breathing, jumping, catharsis, dancing or whirling before entering a space of stillness and silence. As with all meditation, the aim is to allow the mind to be quiet and go beyond the mind to access the deeper parts of yourself.

This series of meditations is an ideal introduction for the beginner and also allows the more experienced meditator to go deeper. All meditations can be attended on a drop-in basis or the whole 'Exploring Active Meditation' course can be booked at Half Price.

Each week we explore, experience and enjoy a different active meditation which is fully explained. Afterwards there will be an opportunity for sharing for those who wish to. Each meditation lasts 1-hour, so allowing for explanation and sharing we will finish around 9.45pm.

Meditations are set to beautiful music specifically composed for each meditation. Meditating in a group allows each meditator to have their own experience whilst benefiting from the energy of the whole group.
