Manna Supplementary School is run by a voluntary sector group every Saturday. The aim of the school is to provide extra educational support to children aged between 3 and 16 years old, so that they are able to progress better within their mainstream school. We have supported the learning of thousands of children over the past 2 decades. We provide supplementary classes in Mathematics, English, Science, Physics and Chemistry. Our management and teachers are highly skilled professionals, most of whom have several years of experience teaching in mainstream and private schools. They are driven by the common goal of seeing the children they teach attain great heights. Established in 1989 with only 2 children, it all started with a home school group with the vision of providing extra education support to children, in order for them to achieve higher levels in their mainstream schools after recognising that many children were not achieving or progressing well within the state educational system. Manna Supplementary School is an arm of the Born to Shine Challenge; run by a voluntary sector group and is listed as a Voluntary Supplementary School. Through hard work and long-standing relationships, we have the privilege of serving families in the Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich and Westminster communities as well as surrounding boroughs. We provide extra educational support to children aged between 3 and 16 years old, so that they are able to progress above their mainstream school expectations and predictions.
