An automated noise or vibration survey will involve the installation of noise and vibration monitors for a minimum of 24hrs. The acquired data will be used to assess the noise or vibration profile of an area, identify any specific noise or vibration sources and provide further statistical information which, in most cases, will assist in setting noise emissions criteria for planning applications, or provide information on long-term effects of vibration on people or buildings.
