A common cause of elbow pain is a condition called ‘tennis elbow’ – called lateral epicondylitis. Pain is most commonly found on the outer (lateral) aspect of the elbow and upper part of the forearm. Most commonly the pain is due to inflammation and irritation of the tendon as it attaches at the lateral aspect of the elbow.
Depending on the pain generator and cause of complaint, several treatment options are available:
