Dance Train is an intensive course to attain the IDTA Associate in Freestyle Dance, an internationally recognised qualification which enables candidates to set up their own classes (or school) and enter their own students through the IDTA examination system.

Freestyle is a creative dance subject which is relevant for teachers of a variety of styles as the theory focuses on general dance movement plus safety, anatomy and thorough class preparation but is particularly useful for teachers of modern styles such as Street, Disco, Jazz and Contemporary. Due to its creative approach there is less set work than other styles and so candidates can take this qualification fairly quickly and become a member of a reknowned Association.

Due to popular demand we are running an additional summer course on 18th and 19th August. Places are limited so see our website and book early to avoid disappointment. There are also a few places left on our residential course in Torquay on 8th and 9th July.

See our website for more information and testimonials - our most recent Associates all attained Honours with 90% or higher in examinations this month and one of our candidates from last year has just been awarded the John Dilworth scholarship after being judged as one of the most impressive Associate candidates out of hundreds of exams taken in 2011.
