UBIFRANCE, the French Trade Commission in London, will be hosting a stand at BioPartnering Europe (BPE) 2011, which will take place at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, in London, from 9 to 11 October. UBIFRANCE will accompany a range of French companies at the event and will be situated on Exhibit Booth 10.
BioPartnering Europe (BPE), which has been organised by Technology Vision Group LLC (TVG), a life-sciences networking company, brings together biotechnology companies from all over the world, helping them to build partnerships and find investors through presentations and B2B meetings.

Alsace BioValley (ABV)
ABV is the life-sciences cluster of excellence for the region of Alsace, in Eastern France. It helps to set up and finance projects, to find business partners, and supports the international development of therapeutic innovation.
A privately held CRO (or Contract Research Organisation) and a spin-off of the University of Auvergne (in Central France), Aptys Pharmaceuticals provides formulation development of highly potent drugs, analytical development and consultation services.
Atlantic Bone Screen
Created in 2005, this CRO, which is based in Nantes (in Western France), specialises in pre-clinical evaluation services in the field of bone and joint diseases, particularly in bone diseases caused by tumours.
France’s Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) is a government-funded technological research organisation. It aims to become the leading technological research organisation in Europe.
Cellvax provides pre-clinical services such as in vivo testing and imaging. It specialises in oncology, diabetes and Parkinson’s disease.
Domain Therapeutics is a biopharmaceutical company, which is dedicated to the discovery and early development of small molecules targeting G protein-coupled receptors: GPCRs are known as one of the best drug targets in the pharmaceutical industry.
ImmunID provides Combinatorial Repertoire Analysis services to identify and characterise immune dysfunction, monitor disease progression, and measure immunotherapy efficiency. The company will make a 15-minute presentation at the event, in the Henry Moore West area, Stream #4, from 1.45pm on 11 October.
As a major player in the pharmaceutical sector, Laboratoire Aguettant manufactures and markets a wide range of its own medicines to treat an array of illnesses. The company is one of France’s largest hospital providers.
Leads to Development (L2D) provides early-stage drug-development expertise. This company wishes to identify biotechnology companies that are currently undertaking or preparing the pre-clinical development of therapeutic agents. L2D will make a 15-minute presentation in the Henry Moore West area, Stream #4, from 1.30pm on 11 October.
Next Pharma specialises in product development, manufacturing and packaging, as well as cold-chain services and logistics for the biotech industry. Its site in Grenoble, in South-Eastern France, specialises in liquid products and semi-solids.
NicOx is a pharmaceutical company that focuses on the research, development and future commercialisation of potential drugs.
Popsi Cube is a new-generation Clinical Research Organisation that specialises in clinical-trial project management, offering unique e-tools for quick and efficient data collection.
Texcell is a world-renowned service company that provides viral-safety and immunology services in full compliance with the standards applying to good laboratory practice (GLP) and good manufacturing processes (GMP).
Vivalis is a contract-manufacturing specialist offering a range of services, including GMP cell banking, GMP antibody production, and GMP virus production.
