international business development
Fresh from the success of its patented MULTI4® concept, TECHNOMARK® is introducing two new lines of marking equipment this year: the fully modular MULTI4® Third Generation and the new Flexmark™ 2-in-1 concept, which is both a hand-held model for marking large bulky parts and a combination model (fixed and portable) for marking parts of all sizes. Flexmark™ has been specially designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
These two new products are notable for their ease of use, rugged construction, performance and power. They feature a simple user interface with intuitive controls, a high-definition colour screen and icon-based navigation. The machines are robust, thanks to the use of aluminium-cast parts in their construction, and feature both a USB and an Ethernet connection. The new MULTI4® and the new Flexmark™ have enhanced marking speeds of several characters per second, along with 40MB of memory, which is enough capacity for approximately 20,000 files.
The MULTI4® (Patent No FR9914782) is one machine with four possible configurations: in a portable configuration, it can be used for marking large and medium-sized parts and parts that are difficult to reach; in conjunction with a bench, for marking small parts; in combination, for marking all sizes of parts; and, finally, in an integrated manner, for marking parts within an automated production line.
TECHNOMARK® offers smart marking thanks to its ground-breaking Intelligent Driving Impact (or IDI®) function (International Patent Application No PCT/FR2006/001246). This function provides a quality and security guarantee for marking. Besides, IDI® electronically compensates for any variation in distance between the part being marked and the marking tool: it is an ideal solution for marking parts that are irregular in shape and/or surface condition.
TECHNOMARK®’s equipment can be used to make quick, attractive markings on any type of material that can be marked and measures up to 63 HRC on the Rockwell hardness scale, including aluminium, copper, brass, bronze, glass, plastic, steel, stainless steel, treated steel, titanium and wood.
TECHNOMARK® has successfully adapted its product range to suit the needs of a wide range of clients and to comply with the latest standards in a host of industries.
TECHNOMARK® designs, manufactures and sells permanent marking equipment that uses dot-peen and scratching technology. The specialist company, which is headquartered in Saint-Chamond, near Lyons (in South-Eastern France), relies on a network of more than 100 partners worldwide.
Starting as a manufacturer of standard marking equipment, TECHNOMARK® now offers comprehensive solutions for industrial traceability. The company is currently expanding its expertise in three core areas: firstly, permanent marking that uses electromagnetic dot-peen and pneumatic scratching technology; secondly, the verification of DataMatrix codes, as well as normed markings; finally, customised solutions for marking and traceability using a range of skills, including direct part marking, verification and database management.
With more than 7,000 pieces of equipment installed worldwide, TECHNOMARK® works with a customer base from a wide range of industries, such as aerospace, automotive, defence, nuclear technology, medical equipment, iron and steel.
In the coming months, TECHNOMARK® will participate in several international trade shows: the International Manufacturing Technology Show 2012, in Chicago (USA), from 10 to 15 September 2012; AMB 2012, in Stuttgart (Germany), from 18 to 22 September 2012; Russian Industrialist, in St Petersburg (Russia), from 25 to 28 September 2012; and, also, MIDEST 2012, in Paris (France), from 6 to 9 November 2012.

If a given publication such as a trade magazine (to which the Press Office subscribes) goes ahead and publishes an article on the basis of this press release, we would like to be informed so as to retrieve the published material, and so as to be able to send it to our client company/entity in France (i.e. the company/entity that provided us with the information contained in the press release in the first place). We keep a printed copy of the published material in the relevant file in our office, and a second copy may infrequently be kept in a press-book that may be shown to potential clients when they visit the Press Office. Other than that, a single scanned copy is sent electronically to the client/entity in France (or, more rarely, a single printed copy is sent by post). This is important to us and to our clients. By reproducing material/content that the Press Office sends to a given publication, the recipient (i.e. the publisher and/or editor) is deemed to have agreed to the limited and legitimate use of the published material - in return and in due course - by the Press Office, as described above. If the recipient of this press release objects to the potential limited re-use of his (her) published material by the Press Office (as outlined above) in the name of his (her) copyright, the said recipient should inform the Press Office as soon as possible, and the manager of the UBIFRANCE Press Office will contact the publication concerned by return of email ([email protected]), which will be followed up with a telephone call and/or a letter in order to try to find a compromise that would be acceptable to both parties. The Press Office seeks to comply fully and actively with copyright law in all its aspects within the United Kingdom and as per European Union laws and regulations.
