The French Trade Commission in London is delighted to invite members of the press to attend its Foodservice Networking Event on 12 May 2011 at the Royal Geographical Society in Kensington (central London). This is the perfect opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the food-service industry from experts in the field, while meeting French producers and British buyers.

The Foodservice Networking Event will begin at 9.30am on 12 May with a conference on the British catering market, including a focus on new trends and the key players in the sector. Speakers will include Emma Read from Horizons For Success and Philip Harlow from Hogarth Marketing Specialists. The conference will be followed by a lunch/tasting at 12.30pm, which will be attended by 13 French suppliers as well as British importers, retailers and buyers.

A range of food products will be on display, including meat products, pre-prepared dishes, cheeses and dairy products, solutions for chefs and cooking aids, as well as desserts and bakery products. British food buyers and importers will have the opportunity to discover and sample these varied innovative products. The event will also give participants ample scope for networking.
