Baltic Baltic Company is pleased to announce the launch of new packaging for Viru Premium Estonian Beer. The new look is designed to reinforce the 'art-deco' roots of the brand and increase shelf presence.
Extra detail has been added to the bottle and the surface of the glass was improved for a more polished feel. The screw cap was replaced by a crown top for more secure product quality. A deeper, stronger label is the most striking feature of the restyle which provides much better visibility for the brand name but also uses text and imagery more appropriate to the Baltic region of 1920-30’s. The re-work was carried out by top Tallinn design team, 'Brand Manual', and includes a unique 4-pack and a new carton.
Director of Baltic Beer Company, Paul Baxendale said, ‘‘The time was right to refresh the brand and we are delighted with the results. Initial response from both trade and consumer has been extremely positive. After our recent success at the World Beer Championships in Chicago and the news that Estonia’s capital, Tallinn will be the European Capital of Culture for 2011, we are looking forward to what promises to be a great year.’’
Sold in many of London’s top venues, such as the Lanesborough and Browns Hotels, Viru is clearly recognisable as a true blend of style and quality with genuine European heritage.
