General English

By: Shakespeare College London  23/07/2013

This course is aimed at students who would like to study the English language in order to be able to communicate efficiently in different life situations. It is designed to provide a systematic development of all language skills: speaking, reading, writing and listening. Also students are prepared for one of the international exams ( FCE or IELTS depending on their choice and level). This preparation is incorporated into the programme but there are 2 days when only exam preparation takes place. All our students are tested on entry to assess their level of English. They are asked to do a placement test and have an oral interview. We monitor students’ progress through the course to see their achievements. At the end of the course they take a final test and receive a certificate. Teachers follow the School syllabus.
