I am a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Consultant offering home visits in SE London for those who don't want the additional cost of joining a gym or are just not into the gym environment. I can train you indoors or outdoors with a variety of equipment. I offer a free consultation to discuss your requirements. My Personal Training services include one on one training sessions as well as programmes designed for you to do yourself at home and nutritional advice for weight management. For me it is all about Functional Fitness. It's nice to look good but it is even more important to be fit enough to function in daily activities. Being fit enough to function well in daily life is a must especially when you have young children to run around after. Many of the movements used in functional fitness training emulate what we do with our young children every day - squatting, lunging, bursts of sprinting, carrying a weight, swinging that weight around (again, again!). Developing strength through functional fitness training puts you in good stead for those fun filled days with your little ones and will reduce the risk of back pain and muscular strains. And it is not only beneficial for parents. My training involves HIT training (mixing up cardiovascular and resistance work) and whole body integration exercises and so builds lean muscle mass and burns lots of calories making you leaner, fitter and stronger. I use dumbbells, kettlebells, stability balls, medicine balls, steppers, dyna bands, suspended movement equipment and body weight exercises to strengthen and tone all muscle groups. I have clients from a range of ages, both male and female. I am a qualified Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer and also have qualifications in Designing Pre and Post Natal Exercise Programmes, Diploma in Exercise Referral (working with clients with conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, depression, arthritis, back pain and obesity), Advanced Nutrition for Weight Management, Kettlebell training, Padwork for PT's and Suspended Movement Training. I am a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals, am fully insured and hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
