Fizz Event Experience
Maximising success for event organisers
Our scheduled day’s course is open to individuals wishing to fast track their professional events skills, with hands-on experience of designing and running a bespoke event at a top London venue.
You may be an events organiser, or someone tasked with managing events, such as parties, fundraisers or conferences, as part of your wider role. Either way, we’ll ensure you come away with the skills and insights required to manage highly successful events.
What you’ll learn
The course balances classroom learning with hands-on event experience at a VIP evening reception, enabling you to demonstrate and consolidate your skills at one of several stunning London venues, such as the Cutty Sark, London Design Museum, Tower Bridge, Whitechapel Art Gallery and Wax Chandlers Hall.
Crucially, you’ll learn the event tips that make all the difference to guest experience, and see your planning decisions play out during the event, with the chance to discuss what worked and what didn’t.
Classroom work and demos include:
Setting event objectives
How to allocate your budget across an event for maximum results
How to assess suitable venues for different types of events
How to create a memorable event in your own office space
Tailoring menus to budgets, popular menu choices
Developing creative themes and how they can help meet objectives
Creative touches to deliver the ‘wow’ factor
How to use design, lighting and entertainment to best effect
How to prepare a final event schedule
You and fellow delegates will then plan and set-up your event experience, inviting one guest each.
How you’ll benefit
Learn insider’s tips on keeping guests happy from the moment they walk in the door
Take away new skills, and an event manual, stuffed with templates, checklists, tools and tips to make planning the success of your next event a doddle
Apply the Fizz process to any future event – big or small – ensuring you ask all the right questions from caterers, venue and suppliers
Easily measure the success of an event, so you can demonstrate its value to your employers and suggest future improvements
