The Wildlife Encounter is a 9 day overland safari from Kigale, Rwanda to Arusha, Tanzania. In Rwanda you  can trek into the Virunga mountains in Parc Nacional de Volcans, searching the densely forested slopes for a family group of mountain gorillas. You can also visit Dian Fosseys grave or the Genocide museum, a haunting memorial to the dark days in 1994.

From the "land of many hills" the safari travels around the south of Lake Victoria and into Tanzania and onto Serengeti National Parks with its vast savanna plains.  Following the rains, the Serengeti's rich volcanic soil produce grazing that attracts the herds of wildebeest, zebra and Thomson's gazelle back from the Masai Mara.  Large predators including lion, leopard and cheetah follow the herds hoping to prey on the weak. Also visiting the famous Ngorongoro Crater - home to elephant, black rhino, giraffe and many more of Africa's big game.
