Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care
Aged Care, home care, dementia care
Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia can be very difficult to deal with for both you and your family. Whether you only have mild symptoms, or you are experiencing one of the later stages of the illness, it can be a very challenging time in your life and you will need support. At Sova Healthcare we are aware that every case is very different; the illness affects everybody in different ways, and so it is extremely important to us that each of our clients receives high-quality dementia care and support that suits their needs.
Our highly experienced carers provide compassionate and sensitive Alzheimer’s care for you under your own roof. Depending on what help you and your family think you need, they can support you with day-to-day activities that you may find difficult; help stimulate your memory; reassure you and prompt you to remember certain tasks or dates; provide personal care if you need it; and become a kind and caring companion. We understand how hard this illness can be on people and we want to be there for you to allow you to keep living your life as independently, healthily and happily as possible.
We also provide respite care for if you already have a family member or friend caring for you. How often you wish our carers to come is entirely up to you; we create a dementia home support plan around your individual needs and requirements. Therefore, if you already have a carer and only need us to come round once a week this can be arranged, allowing your personal carer a break whilst still providing you with the best care possible.
