Join our  weekend Retreat on Friday 5th May - Sun 8th May.   This will be a small group offering a maximum of 12 places for people wanting to participate in Yoga classes. 

There is accommodation room for others who would like to join in some of the other activities and enjoy some personal coaching or therapy in place of the Yoga classes. i.e. meditation, Life Coaching, Nutritional coaching, workshops.

The weekend will be focused on  relaxation and personal discovery with Yoga classes throughout the weekend, including meditation sessions and relaxation sessions.  Weather permitting some of the Yoga classes will be outdoors on one of the lawns.

You can join in as many of the activities and workshops as you like.  There is great countryside around and a circular walk around the gardens for a stroll.

The cost will  £250 and the venue is close enough to make the journey pleasant and not too


If enough people are interested we could hire a mini-bus to get to and from the venue so that you don't have to drive at all.

Pleasant surroundings, pleasant company and great food.


Provisional  weekend programme

You are encouraged to take some free time for relaxation and chilling and can pick and choose which activities to attend.

Most activities will take place outdoors if at all possible.

There will be one to one coaching sessions, mini colour readings and nutritional therapy sessions available throughout the weekend for those who are not on Yoga classes.  Please arrange a time slot on arrival on Friday.


4pm - 5pm arrival and settling in, welcome etc.

5pm - 6pm Light posturing to recover from the journey and prepare for the evening meal

6.30 - 7.30pm 3 course vegetarian meal.  Wine is available to buy by the glass.  Meat can be requested.

7.30 - 8.30 Walk the circular pathway around the house and gardens. (weather permitting) followed by holistic card games with a difference. (in the lounge or conservatory) and time to socialise.

9pm - 10pm  Yin Yoga


7.30 - 8.30 Simple wake up Yoga and meditation

8.30  Continental breakfast with boiled egg if required.

9.30 - 11am Talk on Yoga and the emotions with a theme to work on over the weekend.

11am drinks and snacks

11.30 - 12.30 Hatha yoga session

1 - 2pm Two course light lunch i.e. quiche and salad with fruit for afters

2 - 3.30 Colour themed workshop including chakra balancing and clearing, colour relaxation and colour breathing.

3.30 Drinks break with cake or fruit and nuts.

4pm -5.30pm Yoga Laughter workshop

6,30 - 7.30 3 course Evening meal

8pm - 9pm - Labyrinth mediation walk (weather permitting) followed by mutual appreciation  exercise and socialising (outdoors weather permitting).

9pm - 10pm Yin yoga and guided visualisation


7.30 - 8.30 Easy yoga and meditation

8.30  Continental breakfast

9.30 - 10-.30 talk on meditation

11am drinks

11.30 - 1pm Zoo Time Yoga session ( a bit of fun before you return home)

1 - 2  Two course lunch




There are:

4 twin bedded rooms with ensuite
I double bedded room with a single through an alcove
! double with ensuite
I double using bathroom nearby
1 single ensuite
3 singles with washbasin (1 very small) sharing a nearby bathroom

Overspill accommodation is available in the stable annex

All are basic bedrooms

Communal areas:

Dinning room with dark pannelled  walls

Room for Yoga with full length Windows looking out across the gardens

Lounge with comfortable seating

Sustantial Conservatory ideal for meditation

Small Library with a selection of popular novels etc and a bay window with views of picturesque Ellesmere ( a 20 min walk away).

A small area outside the library for sitting and taking a quiet moment.


Lawn with croquet lawn overlooking Grange Meadows:
Walled Victorian herb and vegetable garden (where a lot of your meal comes from)
Sunken Garden with fishpond and gazebo
Labyrinth lawn cut into the grass
A circular walk around the grounds that takes in the woodland, fields and garden.


To reserve your place   and accommodation will be allocated on a first come first choice basis.

Secure your place with a £30 non refundable deposit. 

Terms and conditions:

 £30 non  refunable deposit required by 13th March.
50% balance required by end of March and the final balance by April 30th.

As we have to pay (and forfeit) the deposit to the venue we will be unable to refund.  We have a minimum of 10 participants also.  If you cancel and we are able to reallocate your place we will refund whatever we can (i.e. if we have to sell your place at a reduced amount we will refund what is left once all our costs are covered).
