Continence Therapy Works
CLINIC, alternative therapies, Complementary
One in four women have problems with incontinence and many will take up to 10 years to tell their GP either because of embarrassment or they dont want to bother them or they think its a natural condition after childbirth or menopause.
Physiotherapy has been proven to help in 80% of cases and the National Guidelines recommend that physiotherapy should be the first line of treatment. At our clinic you can be assured that you will have a confidential and professional appointment. Please note this treatment is available for all women of all ages. A detailed assessment will be carried out to include - symptoms of bladder problems, bowel symptoms, medical history, health, fitness levels and lifestyle and a pelvic floor assessment will be carried out with your consent. At the end of this appointment our physiotherapist will discuss and agree with you a treatment plan to suit your individual needs.
