Conscious and subconscious conflict
Hypnotherapy and NLP Clinic

I received a call from a client who wanted to see me because of migraine and headaches. We talked about her issues and reasons for headaches. The client told me that she has bad dreams.
Client went into hypnosis very quickly but we struggled to get the conscious mind to agree to communicate with the subconscious mind. I realised that there was something not right. I decided to investigate the issue between conscious and subconscious mind. I counted 5 to 1 and ask the conscious mind to go to sleep and asked to speak to the subconscious mind. I then asked subconscious mind the following questions:
Q) Are you scared of conscious mind?
Q) Is it because conscious mind is not listening to you?
Q) Is it because conscious mind is a bully?
Q) Do you know how to talk to the conscious mind?
Q) Would you like to try and talk to the conscious mind in the manner that conscious mind understands?
Q) Do you believe that you have the resources to help conscious mind?A) YesQ) Would you like me to give you some suggestions?
Q) Were you polite to conscious mind last time you spoke to subconscious mind?
Q) Would you consider to be polite when speaking to conscious mind this time?
Q) Do you think you can help the conscious mind if you are polite?A) YesQ) Are you ready to talk to conscious mind?
I then counted 1 - 5 to bring the conscious mind back in the room. Once I had both present, I asked conscious mind the following questions:
Q) Would you like to get rid of these stresses and migraines?
Q) Would you like subconscious mind to help you?
Q) Is it because subconscious mind has been aggressive?
Q) Would you listen to the subconscious mind, if subconscious mind is polite to you?
I now had attention of both the conscious and the subconscious mind. I asked the subconscious mind to be polite and share the solutions to these headaches and any other problems that conscious mind is facing. To reassure conscious mind, I requested subconscious mind to be polite when speaking to conscious mind. I noticed that client's fingers were twitching which is the sign of communication (I asked my client to communicate by twitching her fingers as yes or no). I just kept reassuring the conscious mind that subconscious mind is a friend and subconscious will be polite when sharing the solutions.
Time to time I kept checking how things were going between them two and I was getting good responses. After 20 odd minutes of discussion between conscious and subconscious mind, we got the result. Once both conscious and subconscious mind were happy, I counted to 10 to bring the client back into the room.
Client was in no state to drive so the partner was called and client A was picked up. I received the call from the client's partner 2 weeks after session saying that his wife was doingn really well and seen a huge change in her.
