We are fully qualified and insured. We hold current Criminal Records Bureau clearances.  As members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (“BACP”) we are bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP website –

We practice in Maidstone, Herne Bay and Canterbury.  Our fees range from £15 to £40 depending on your circumstances.  We offer long-term and short-term counselling.  Weekly sessions are advised but in some cases fortnightly cases may be agreed.

We offer a confidential and non-judgemental place to explore and understand yourself, to become clear about what you would like and work towards that.  We will have regular reviews along the way to check that we are on track.  You can let us know how long you would like to attend counselling for and we can also work towards an agreed ending.

Counselling is not about giving advice or changing who you are but working together to help you function in a way which means living a more satisfactory life.  In counselling you can look at your past, your present or your envisioned future.  Often, clients find they explore elements of all of these within their counselling sessions. Integrating a combination of theoretical approaches offers a more flexible way to provide counselling as it adapts to fit each individual.

Some of the issues we work with are:
*  life-changing events
*  eating disorders
*  anxiety
*  abuse
*  bereavement
*  relationship difficulties
*  work related issues
*  low self-esteem
*  lack of confidence
*  weight related issues
*  addictions
*  anger
*  stress
*  parenting issues
*  cultural identity issues
