Claddagh School of Irish Dancing
Your child will gain valuable skills at dancing such as posture, grace, co-ordination, confidence, concentration and good sportsmanship. Irish dancing is not a conventional dance style, but one that requires the same amount of strength, discipline and mental awareness as other popular styles.
Your child will learn solo stepdances in both ‘soft’ and ‘hard’ shoes as well as learn ceili (pronounced kay-lee) dances.
In the beginners class, children will learn basic technique and posture required for more advanced work as they progress friendships, and I believe the Claddagh symbols are a good representation of this.
