  WILLS

If a person dies without making a will their property is dealt with under the ‘intestacy rules’, and the property in the estate is distributed according to an Act of Parliament rather than the deceased’s wishes.  It is also the case that assumptions about how the intestacy rules work are often wrong, for example a surviving spouse does not necessarily “get everything”, and unmarried partner may receive nothing.   Making a will also gives you the opportunity to name the persons who you want to be involved in administering your estate, and to make special arrangements for children including the appointment of guardians.

Please contact to find out more about the process.
