Train2Protect (T2P) International Ltd is the UK's first accredited training company outside of the Military and Police to be accredited to offer Counter Terrorist Search qualifications S/NVQ's. This one day Awareness course has been accredited by SQA and EDEXCEL and is designed to give anyone with a responsibility for protecting; people, property or assets a basic understanding of terrorist methods of attack and response to potential attacks. Training is delivered by ex military or police personnel and includes hands on inert training aids and component parts. This one day course can be increased in duration to include other subjects including Person, vehicle and other types of search.

Pre Requisites:

Open course attendees – SIA License holders, individuals subject to a security check.

Aims:
To  provide candidates who have no previous subject knowledge or experience, with a basic knowledge of the threat from Improvised Explosive or Incendiary Devices (IED/IID’s) and recognition of their component parts. The actions to be taken upon discovery of a suspect package, postal device or upon receipt of a bomb threat.
