SSP Insitu Wet Pour Rubber Surfacing is a bonded rubber surface designed for children's playgrounds and safety areas. two grades of rubber crumb may be used, Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR is a recycled product from vehicle tyres)) and Ethylene Propylene Di Monomer (EPDM). SBR is normally used as a base layer although it can be used as a top layer. however SBR topping can release carbon that can stain. EPDM is the recommended topping layer and is available in black red,blue, green yellow etc.

Solid colour graphic & game inserts are available to create theme and educational aids or a flecked surface can be created using a mixture of colours.

SSP insitu wet pour rubber surfacing is available in a single layer from 15mm to 30mm for use around low level; equipment or to create a safe run around area but only when it can be installed onto a tarmac or concrete base. For higher play equipment or when installed onto a compacted crushed stone base the system is laid in a double layer to a depth of between 40mm and 100mm,
