Blood Pressure Monitoring - If you want to know if your blood pressure is in a healthy bracket, then regular monitoring is available for you as part of your treatment plan.
Chinese Nutritional Therapy - The traditional Chinese view of diet and nutrition is about creating balance and harmony with what we eat. There are no 'good or bad' foods - just qualities of food, ie flavours, taste, energetics. By moderating and balancing our intake of foods we aim to achieve and maintain wellness. Information on how the energetics of foods can help you, along with some sample recipes will be offered with each treatment to support your healing process.
Cupping - Cups are placed on specific points creating suction to ease pain and discomfort. Cupping is most commonly used to treat colds and flu by shifting congestion in the chest and/or to relieve muscle and joint pain. It can also be used to treat digestive and gynaecological problems and to draw out toxins from the body.
Moxibustion - Moxa is a plant (Artemisia argyi Folium) that is used as a heat source to stimulate acupuncture points. The technique involves burning a smokeless form of the herb (mugwort) slowly to warm acupuncture points to stimulate the flow of Qi and Blood, remove cold from the body and maintain general health.
Neuromuscular Taping - Movement and the muscular activity are indispensable to maintain or recover good physical/health conditions. This specialised taping technique increases blood flow, lymphatic drainage, aids healing, improves joint mobility whilst also providing support.
