We offer a range of bird and wildlife tours in the Outer Hebrides to see the vast array of wildlife that the islands have to offer. Otter and eagles are regularly seen on day tours whilst more extensive trips for up to a week allow you to experience the full diversity of birds, mammals and flowers. Snowy Owls have become a regular feature in recent years and many other rare birds have been seen on the tours including Bee-eater, Killdeer, Semipalmated Sandpiper, Golden Oriole and Subalpine Warbler. Basking Sharks are regular from spring until August, whilst whales and dolphins also occur at this time of year and include sightings of Minke Whale and Bottle-nosed Dolphins amongst others. Island life is like a vision of the past when the fields were full of flowers, hordes of birds live and benefit from the low-intensity agriculture and many species that have struggled such as Corn Buntings and Skylarks still thrive here. Each season has something special to offer in this hidden corner of the UK. To find out what's about please visit the recent sightings on the website.
