Value Plastics expands its line of XQC Series quick connect fittings / quick disconnect couplings with 8 new configurations and an additional raw material family. The new products make designers’ tasks easier by expanding the range of available options. As with the first series of XQC products released for sale in 2007, the new XQC Series products feature ergonomic grips and the popular 700 Series single barbs, proven superior in tubing retention combined with ease of assembly. All XQC Series products continue to interchange with plastic and metal types of metal button-type connectors from other suppliers. 20 new component options, enabling 136 new combinations, are available from stock in two materials with 1/4" and 3/8" hose barbs. Available products include open flow and valved panel mount male and female versions, open flow straight male and female connectors and open flow and valved male elbows, all in acetal copolymer resin with Buna-N o-rings. White polypropylene versions, with EPDM o-ring seals, are available in straight valved male and female connectors. Primary applications for XQC Series products are reusable medical equipment, inflatable products including mattresses, orthopedic equipment and anywhere product performance is improved through adding a repetitive, reliable, leak-free connection feature.
