Andrew Parsons is an experienced barrister, mediator and arbitrator. He was called to the Bar in 1985 and founded the Portsmouth Barristers’ Chambers in 1990.
Prior to practising at the Bar he worked as a broker in the City of London. He has a purely civil practice, specialising in business, commercial, company, construction, financial, partnership, personal injury, professional negligence and property work.
Andrew has for many years been committed to the use of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes such as mediation as a more sensible and civilised way to resolve disputes. In 1998, he was one of the first English barristers to become an accredited commercial mediator. Since then he has conducted over 300 mediations and acted as a specialist mediation advocate in thousands of cases. He sits on the ADR Committee of the Bar Council and is the current Chairman of the Southern Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
He is specially qualified to accept instructions direct from members of the public under the Public Access scheme. He also accepts work from lawyers and attorneys outside the UK on an Intenational Practice Rules basis.

Mr Parsons has no set opening hours. He works 24/7 as and when his clients need. This includes weekends and public holidays.
