Wardle Marine Services Ltd
Wardle Marine Services Ltd offer 2 types of decked pontoons to ensure that we can fulfil all requirements. Both systems consists of 3 parts – the flotation, the frame, and the decking:
Flotation - The flotation is supplied by HDPE floatation units which are rotationally moulded from UV stabilised Medium Density Polyethylene. This produces a one piece shell which is virtually indestructible and resistant to oil and chemicals. The floats are filled with polystyrene beads which are steam injected to form a solid mass.
Frames – The pontoon frames are constructed from 60mm x 40mm box section steel with a wall thickness of 3.2mm which are then hot dip galvanised – our standard frames are 5000mm x 1500mm but we can manufacture then in virtually any size.
We can then add the mooring and fixing points to suit your application including; hinges, ramp fixings, anchor plates, service channels, cleats, rubbing strakes etc…
Using our modular pontoon cubes for the buoyancy we then add our galvanised steel deck mounting brackets and rails to allow a deck of your choice to be fitted securely to the pontoon.
The Deck - We offer a number of decking options for both systems including: Pressure Treated Softwood, Pressure Treated Hardwood, Fibreglass Gratings, Aluminium Checker Plate, Millboard Synthetic Decking, Dura Synthetic Decking, plus other specialist coverings.
The pontoons can be supplied in either kit form or fully assembled.
We can also design, supply and install all of the associated mooring and anchoring equipment for your pontoon.
