Midas Jewellery –Jewellery
Inspired by North Wales Coast
Top Drawer 15-18 Jan 2011 Stand X11a
A new comer to Top Drawer, Midas Jewellery designs use the
inspiration of the North Wales coast and mountains to create stunning jewellery.
Pieces are made in a fusion of sterling
and fine silver with flamework glass all
created in the Midas workshop, based in Conwy, North Wales.
Midas is a small workshop and is
proud to gain the product GB Mark at the first visit to the Top Drawer Show, as
all items are hand crafted in Wales.
Started in June 2010 Patsy Tyldesley has been making jewellery for
many years, however, ill health meant she had to give up her full time
lecturing job, and she decided to give her full attention to setting up Midas
Jewellery. Since starting Midas has been lucky enough to be featured in Every
Model Magazine as designer to 4 tiaras for the Miss Every Model and Miss Talent
Expo Pageants and is also featured in the January Edition of Marie Claire
Magazine. Midas supply several small
galleries with Jewellery products and have a web shop selling direct to the
public. Midas Jewellery looks forward to
seeing Welsh made products in more venues soon.
Midas Jewellery is a new member
of the British Jewellery Association and the Welsh Craft Council. As well as
exhibiting at Top Drawer this year Midas can also be seen at the Welsh Craft Council
Trade Fair, in Llandudno (January 2011) and the Gift and Home Exhibition in
Harrogate (July 2011).
