There are a number of bespoke shirt makers seeling high quality bespoke shirts like us, and all of them are masters in their art. however, often, unlike us their prices can put the shirts beyond many peoples reach, particularly in these difficult economic conditions.

Just about all companies in the UK making comparable quality shirts charge more and have a minimum orders of 3 or more shirts. A couple of reasons for this are that they are located in prime london streets such as Savile Row or Jermyn Street meaning that they have large rents to pay (and also meaning the client needing to fund visits to the capital).  We also work to the minimum margins that allow us to continue to provide the best quality shirts in the region at sensible prices.

Traditional shirtmaking is a long and skilled process involving the cutting of a personal pattren for each client based on a large set of measurements taken at a bespoke shirt consultation. The pattern maker we use is highly skilled and able to create a pattern that truly reflects the clients personal shape.

The cloth is then cut by hand using the pattern to ensure perfection in the fit. the shirt is then sewn together using hand sewing machines in our workshops with highly skilled seamstresses.

The amount of work that goes into one of our bespoke shirts mean they are of course more expensive than off the rack shirts which are machine cut and stitched to a standard pattern. However when looking at quality ready to wear shirts at £70 to £95 it is fair to say that at £120 our bespoke shirts offer great value for money.
