The non-native American grey squirrel causes an incredible amount of
damage annually to deciduous trees, the fabric of buildings and food
supplies and storage. The grey squirrel is also a very real threat to
our native wildlife, birds, their chicks and eggs all get predated and
the UK's native red squirrel is now restricted to a few isolated areas.
Bark stripping of trees can begin as early as February and this is a
prime time for control to take place, most importantly, the squirrel
