One customer had called in five different pest controllers to deal with an infestation of silverfish in his home. Two said they could not deal with these creatures and three tried but failed. They had sprayed around the house with liquid insecticide but had failed to get to the areas the silverfish were hiding. They are creatures which thrive in damp, dark conditions and in desperation the man spoke to us. To his great pleasure we told hime that it was folly to use wet insecticides as a first course of action as it was necessary to get to the root of the problem with insecticidal dusts and diamataceous earth. This is what he had read about onthe internet and commented that we were the only company he had contacted that even mentioned this action. We attended and beneath all the cupboards injected insecticidal dust the put a thick layer of diamataceuos earth as a barriier. We injected dust into all electrical switch and socket fixings and into all cracks and crevices we could find. In the following month only 3 live silverfish have been found in the house as opposed to 15 to 30 every day and the customer is very pleased to the extent that we do all his pest control work for him now. This is also the case with several others we have done work for well and for a reasonable price that we have taken over from several other companies.
