Adding a splash of colour to bring a vibrant new brand to life…
The right colour choice and can make a real difference to a brand, helping to bring it to life, which is why Storm Creative was asked to develop an iconic brand and an instantly recognisable colour palette for the hot new café – 'On Lime'. The first step was to look at what would make this chic venue stand out from the crowd – which is why the brand was highlighted with an unmissable magenta, complemented by an almost-neon lime green. Set against a contrast of rich grey and stark white, the colours literally jump out and ensure the brand is impossible to overlook.

Developing high impact signage – inside and out…
With a winning brand in place, the venue needed to live up to expectations. Storm Creative commissioned a unique piece of exterior signage – a made-to-order, fully-lit, three dimensional sign, to put the cafe on the map both night and day. This was complemented by slick and stylish window art, to showcase exactly what was on offer inside – from sumptuous hot drinks and devilish cakes to savoury treats and fantastically fast internet connections. Custom vinyl wall art helped create an atmosphere inside, building on the look and feel of the brand and creating somewhere customers would want to visit again and again.

Making interior design fun – with help from Philippe Starck…
When it came to making the On Lime experience match the promise of the brand, Storm Creative were commissioned to develop the interior design of the venue and make this a reality. Overseeing every aspect – from flooring to ceilings – Storm also influenced the layout of the actual café area, to maximise comfort for customers and efficiency for staff. A key part of the interior design was sourcing and even producing key items of furniture, at the heart of which were a number of exciting items designed by the incomparable Philippe Starck. His simple-yet-iconic seating solutions – including his sensational tinted plastic bar stools and chairs – helped to reflect the bright and modern tone of the venue. This was further complemented by the counters, lighting and internal signage, all of which were designed and produced from scratch using our designs.

Adding a new dimension to print work – from menus to leaflets…
Having a new brand in place is one thing, but making it work harder is quite another. As part of our work with On Lime, Storm Creative took their new brand and visual tone of voice from the drawing board and onto their new printed and promotional material. We used our extensive links and buying power to secure high quality print and finishing at the lowest possible prices for all aspects of their work. By designing and printing their in-house, takeaway and behind-counter menus, we were able to ensure the colours were as rich, vibrant and perfectly suited the look and feel of the brand as envisaged. A functional yet inexpensive website – – was also created to convey the brand – and more importantly the menu – online
