Creating an advertising campaign that captures the impact of divorce...
When it comes to divorce, emotions can often run high, but that isn't always the best mindset for your solicitor to have. Through our initial discussions with Giles Wilson, it became clear that their clients want and need a rational and level-headed approach to divorce, despite their own anger and frustration. This provided the cornerstone for the new campaign, with an image that captures the raw emotion of the situation at first glance, but which swiftly leads to intelligent humour and a voice of reason.

The adverts in this part of the campaign are clean, sleek and iconic, requiring a great deal of creative flair. The work began with a search for suitable hand models and a photoshoot to capture the perfect image. While the adverts were being designed and copywritten, our marketing team worked busily behind the scenes to secure the best advertising options. This included a fleet of bus advertising, newspaper wraps and display adverts that focused on that arresting first image, leading to a message of calm, clear advice you can rely on.

Building a dynamic, contemporary website...
Some websites are only there for the sake of it and many more aren't working as hard as they could be. That's not something that could be said of the new Giles Wilson website www.gileswilson.co.uk, which has been developed as part of the overall marketing strategy, to ensure all elements work together. Storm created the site to tie in with the strong visuals of the advertising campaign, developing a style that effortlessly links in with the messages potential clients may have already seen, producing a more cohesive brand.

The key messages from the adverts were tied into core areas of the website through the use of a carousel on the home page, with content on the website tailored to match the messages of the overall campaign. People visiting the site via the ongoing marketing campaign are led through a seamless transition, giving them a taste of the full cross section of the services on offer.

Refreshing the identity through stylish interior design...
When a company gets a new brand, it is important that it embraces it fully and incorporates it as a central part of all day-to-day operations. This includes taking a good look at your offices and ensuring that they match the direction and focus of the new identity. While working with Giles Wilson on their new brand, the partners also decided that they wanted to make sure their offices matched the new look, engaging Storm to provide a full interior design service.

From the reception and meeting rooms to the back-room offices, Storm created a style palette for each room, with colours, styles and textures selected to create a cohesive workspace. Furniture was sourced from several suppliers, with bespoke pieces created where off-the-shelf solutions were unable to match the unique requirements of the client. Finishing touches, including pieces of art based around the Giles Wilson brand and buildings, were also created to tie the whole scheme together.

Programming an easy-to-use online questionnaire to maximise feedback...
As a legal firm founded on excellence, it's little surprise that Giles Wilson wanted to collect feedback from its clients to find out how it could improve its service. Through our ongoing discussions, Storm proposed creating an online questionnaire, which could be emailed to all clients to provide views and comments on core areas of service. By creating something simple-to-use and quick-to-complete, we were able to help the team maximise the amount of feedback received.

Simple, stylish and functional images helped to make the drive of the questionnaire as straightforward as possible. Each question was tailored to be concise and easy to understand, combining a yes/no system with free-text boxes to get more detailed feedback, rather than just numbers on an arbitrary scale.
