Here at Mike Varney Physiotherapy all of the physiotherapists have attended courses on kinesio tape techiques and are qualified to treat injuries with this specialised type of taping. You may have noticed kinesio tape being worn by popular athletes including David Beckham, Tom Daley, Gareth Bale and most recently Novak Djokovic at the Australian Tennis Open.

We believe that kinesio taping is beneficial as part of our patients treatments, not only for athletes and those participating in sport, but also for the reduction of pain and supporting weak joints. We have also found kinesio tape techniques are very successful in the treatment of adolescent injuries, especially in young aspiring athletes.
