Does your cat or dog have fleas?
If so, as well as treating Fluffy and Fido you will need to have your carpets treated too.
According to the RSPCA it is estimated that 95% of flea eggs, larvae and pupae live in the environment, on beds, rugs, carpets and sofas - not on your pet. So if you treat your pet without treating it's environment there's a high chance of re-infestation once they hatch. Fleas can also survive in the environment without a host for many months, especially with most homes these days having central heating.
As soon as you start treating your pet, give us a call and we will come and treat your carpets and sofas etc. For best results it's preferable to have the carpets and upholstery deep cleaned immediately before treatment but the treatment can be undertaken on a standalone basis after a thorough vacuuming. The treatment should be repeated after a month,
Please note that the insecticide used is hazardous to fish, so if you have a fish bowl or aquarium it should be moved out of the room or fully covered during treatment.
