The Guild of Master Craftsmen is a trade association
whose members work in many different trades, crafts and professions. The main
objectives of the Guild are to help those they represent obtain more work,
increase public awareness of their skill and integrity, and provide
opportunities for them to make savings on business expenses.
Guild membership is very diverse. Some members are
very large companies – many of them household names – whilst others are sole
traders. A small but significant percentage represent traditional crafts,
possibly working with materials like stained glass, silver, wrought iron or even
thatch, whilst a growing percentage may work on computer hardware or
software. The Guild represents
manufacturers, repairers, restorers and retailers.
However, there are some things that all Guild
members have in common. They have acknowledged a commitment to work with skill
