pchelpman™ was started in 1998 by Stephen Freedman BSc (hons). After graduating, he
saw a huge gap in the market for IT support for local businesses and homes. Having gained
experience in various multinational corporates, Stephen noticed technology creeping into homes
and smaller businesses. At that time, there weren’t many organisations offering a service to
these sectors; those that were, were often of poor quality. In the IT support industry, there
are no legal requirements for qualifications and no official governing trade organisations.
Therefore, Stephen soon realised that it was important to build a name that people could trust
and rely on - pchelpman™ was born.
Stephen built the business slowly and he was careful to stay close to his customers. The
success of pchelpman™ has been built on a strong ethos to deliver a personal and holistic
service to clients, with no ‘buck passing’ and complete customer satisfaction. 11 years on,
