Following the success of the Junior Farmers weekend breaks, Farmer Rob has added some extra dates to the calendar so more families and children have the opportunity to get involved in farming. Each family has the chance to look after their own pigs and chickens for the weekend. They feed, clean and water the animals each day and enjoy the eggs laid by their own chickens. It's an opportunity that many children will not get at home and it really helps to build their confidence. Children love the rare breed animals from piglets to shetland ponies, highland cattle to cotswold sheep they all have there favourites. There are plenty of fun activities to get involved in as well like straw bale den building, pig training and trailer rides. It's an opportunity to make new friends and spend quality time with your family doing something outdoors.  The new dates are available on our website http://www.cwmcrwthfarmcottages.co.uk/SpecificCourse.cfm?CourseID=11
